SYNOPSIS
RISING: REBULDING GROUND ZERO is a collaboration of Steven Spielberg’s DreamWorks Television, Discovery/Science Channel and executive producers Danny Forster (Build it Bigger) and Jonathan Hock. After nearly a decade since
the tragic events of 9/11, this 6-part series is the story of the massive effort
currently under way to reshape Ground Zero into an expansive 16-acre complex
the likes of which has never been seen before. RISING documents this historic
effort through the eyes of survivors and families, the architects and designers,
the construction workers, politicians and the community surrounding Lower
Manhattan.
